Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School
Membership Fee

A $50.00 Annual Non-Refundable Insurance Membership Fee applies to all new registrations.

The membership is valid until June 30 of each year.
Parent Agreement, Liability Waiver & Policy Acknowledgment
By registering a participant in any program offered by Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Assumption of Risk:
Participation in circus arts, gymnastics, tumbling, and related physical activities involves inherent risks that may result in injury. These activities include but are not limited to:

Tumbling
-
Gymnastics apparatus
-
Aerial silks and aerial equipment
-
Conditioning and flexibility training
-
Trampoline and acrobatic skills
-
Strength and coordination exercises
-
By registering, the parent/guardian voluntarily assumes all risks of injury that may occur during participation in any activity at Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School, whether supervised or unsupervised.

The parent/guardian confirms that the participant is physically able to safely participate in the program.
2. Release of Liability:
The parent/guardian agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, and coaches from any and all liability for:

injuries
-
accidents
-
losses
-
damages
that may occur while participating in any class, camp, training session, event, or while on the premises.
This waiver applies to all programs including classes, camps, workshops, and private lessons.
3. Medical Authorization:
In the event of injury or medical emergency, the parent/guardian authorizes Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School staff to obtain medical assistance if necessary.
Any medical expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian.
4. Membership Fee:
A $50 Annual Non-Refundable Membership Fee applies to all new registrations.

5. Payment Policies:

Cheque payable to Prestige Gymnastics School Inc.

Additional payment terms:
-
Online payments are subject to a 2.4% administration fee.

NSF cheques are subject to a $50 service charge.
-
All program fees are subject to HST.
-
Full payment must be made by the program registration deadline unless otherwise arranged with the office.
6. No Refund Policy:
All registrations are final.
Once registered, no refunds will be issued for:

Fall Session
-
Winter Session
-
Spring Session
-
Summer Session
-
Circus & Gymnastics Classes
-
PA Day Camps
-
March Break Camps
-
Summer Camps
-
Intensive Training Camps
Missed classes due to vacations, scheduling conflicts, or withdrawal from the program are not eligible for refunds.
7. Late pick up:
-
Our March Break & Summer Camp Program finishes promptly at 4:00pm. Out of respect for our team’s time, any late pick ups after 4:05pm will be assessed a $25/15 minute late pick up fee per occurrence. This will be charged to the payment method on file during the next business day
8. Approved Refund Exceptions:
Refunds may only be considered at the sole discretion of Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School.
If a refund is approved:

A $50 Non-Refundable Administration Fee will apply.

The $50 membership fee is non-refundable.
9. Medical Withdrawal Policy:
If a participant must stop training due to a medical condition that occurs during training at our facility, the following may apply:

A program credit valid for 12 months may be issued.
-
An original doctor’s note must be provided stating the participant's inability to participate in circus or gymnastics activities.
10. Make-Up Class Policy:
Participants may schedule up to two (2) make-up classes per session for:

Fall Session
-
Winter Session
-
Spring Session
Make-up classes:
-
Must be scheduled through the office
-
Are subject to availability
Make-up classes do not apply to:
-
PA Day Camps
-
March Break Camps
-
Summer Camps
-
Intensive Tumbling Camps
No make-up classes are provided for inclement weather closures.
11. Class Changes:
Any class change or camp week change is subject to a $50 administration fee.
12. Low Enrolment Policy:
Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School reserves the right to:
-
cancel a class due to low enrolment
-
recommend an alternative training time
If a class is cancelled, participants will be offered an alternative class or program credit.
13. Facility Closures:
If the facility must close due to circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to:
-
public health orders
-
outbreaks
-
government mandates
missed classes will be compensated through:
-
make-up classes, or
-
program credit
No refunds will be issued.
14. Tax Receipts:
One tax receipt will be issued per registration.
If additional tax receipts are required, a $5 administration fee will apply.
15. Chargeback and Payment Dispute Policy:
By completing registration, the parent/guardian agrees that:

All program fees are valid and authorized charges.

Payment disputes or credit card chargebacks are not permitted for services that have been reserved or delivered.

In the event of a chargeback:
-
The account will be immediately suspended.
All outstanding balances and associated chargeback fees may be forwarded to collections.
16. Agreement to Policies:
By registering for any program offered by Prestige Circus & Gymnastics School, the parent/guardian confirms that they:

have read and understood all policies
-
agree to comply with all terms
-
accept the liability waiver and payment policies
This agreement applies to all current and future registrations unless otherwise updated by the school.
PARTICIPANT CODE OF BEHAVIOUR:
-
Do not tolerate acts of aggression.
-
Respect the talent, potential and development of fellow studio members.
-
Care for and respect the equipment provided to you as part of your program.
-
Be honest with your coach concerning illness and injury and your ability to train fully within the program requirements.
-
Conduct yourself in a professional manner relating to language, temper and punctuality.
-
Maintain high personal behaviour standards at all times.
-
Understand that not adhering to School rules can result in sitting out of training session.
-
In extreme circumstances, expulsion from the School can occur.
PARENTS CODE OF BEHAVIOUR:
-
Respect the rights, dignity and worth of others.
-
Remember that your child participates in sport for their own enjoyment, not yours.
-
Focus on your child’s efforts and performance rather than winning or losing.
-
Never ridicule or yell at your child and other children for making a mistake or losing a competition.
-
Show appreciation for good performance by all participants, including participant from other classes.
-
Demonstrate a high degree of individual responsibility especially when dealing with or in the vicinity of persons less than 18 years of age, as your words and actions are an example.
-
Respect coaches decisions and teach children to do likewise.
-
Do not physically or verbally abuse or harass anyone associated with the sport (player, coach, and so on).
-
Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every young person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
-
Be a positive role model.
-
Never enter the gym floor unless given specific permission by a Prestige Circus & Gymnastics school staff member.
-
Understand the repercussions if you breach, or are aware of any breaches of, this code of behaviour.
